Dual-Diagnosis Therapy

By utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy in combination with a person-centered approach, we can challenge and support patients by developing effective coping strategies and mood regulation techniques. This also includes the ability to gain control of impulses and addressing other mental health challenges to help promote the ability to obtain their goals.

Behavioral Intervention

Behavior Intervention is ability to utilize positive behavioral supports that are designed specifically to prevent a problem behavior. This technique also teaches alternative behaviors that result in a more successful outcome. Changing the dynamics of these basic routines and interactions provides a higher sense of self-worth and leads to positive modification of behaviors.

My Approach

Mental health has the ability to an impact our life, both positive and negative, throughout our day-to-day routines. By learning to cope with environmental stressors, patients are able to establish techniques and build their confidence to manage each situation that they encounter. Together with our therapists, patients work to identify specific goals and strategies within the therapeutic setting to help live a more balanced life.

 

At Mindful Moments, our therapists look at the overall picture to identify any areas of a patient’s life that are causing them challenges or frustration. We take into account any previous treatments or evaluations and combine that with our own assessment to start laying the groundwork to a more gratifying way of life.
